Congrats our 2022 Summer Interns and a warm welcome to Dante, our new graduate student

This summer, the Dudakov lab hosted two summer interns from the Fred Hutch Pathways Undergraduate Researchers Program. Maleia and Alexia’s research project focused on how thymic epithelial cells undergo endothelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT).

We also welcomed a new graduate student from the UW Program of Immunology, Dante Acenas II. To celebrate our summer interns and Dante’s start, the lab went out paddle boarding and kayaking on the neighboring Lake Union.
